Painting Exhibition by Sepideh Nourmohammad Manesh

Non-Body

The body begins
The bodiless face, the faceless body,
The canvas’s body, the book’s, and the word’s,
The words summon the body, and the colours too,
Hallow body, the body hallow,
The shadow without a body, the body without a shadow,
The body tied up to the mirror, to the canvas in colour,
The body succumbs, touches, becomes reluctant,
The body-number, the number-body,
The body becomes nameless,
The body’s line, the line of body,
Nature's body, the Earth’s body, the tree’s body,
The essence of body turns to mud,
The language of body, the body of language,
The victim's body, the victim of body,
The body without a master, the absent body,
The sunset that crushes the bodies,
The body that ends in a flash,
The body that comes with wind and disappears in wind,
The dormant body, either in grave or beside the lover or on a canvas,
The body emerges from mud and ends in theground.
